Cotopaxi National Park
Snow-capped volcano views, wild Andean horses, the Limpiopungo lagoon, and the climb to Refugio Jose Rivas at 4,800m. The classic Ecuador day trip and our most-booked tour.
Book Cotopaxi →Full day · Most photographed
Quilotoa Crater Lake
The emerald crater lagoon at 3,914m. Rim walk with sweeping views, optional descent to the water, lunch in an Andean village. Pictures don’t do it justice. The water really is that color.

South America’s largest indigenous artisan market. Cuicocha crater lake. The leather town of Cotacachi. Run on Saturdays when the market is at full strength. Bring an empty bag.
Book Otavalo →Half day · UNESCO old town
Quito Historic Center
The basilica with the Galapagos tortoise gargoyles. The gold-leaf interior of La Compañía. Plaza Grande, the Presidential Palace, and San Francisco Plaza. Old Town’s greatest hits with a local guide.
Book Quito Tour →Half day · Zero latitude
Mitad del Mundo
Stand on the equator. The monument plus the more accurate Intinan museum. Coriolis-effect demonstrations, balance-an-egg party tricks, and a shrunken-head exhibit you didn’t see coming.
Book Mitad del Mundo →Full day · Hot springs
Papallacta Hot Springs
Thermal pools at 3,300m surrounded by páramo. The drive crosses the Andes east of Quito. Add a short hike for the views, then soak. Best done after a hard week of trekking.

Day-Tour FAQs
Quick answers

Yes. Central Quito hotels in La Mariscal, Centro Histórico, La Floresta, and most major neighbourhoods. Pickup window 6:30 to 7:30 AM. Tell us your hotel name when you book and we’ll confirm the pickup time.
How difficult are the walks?
Easy to moderate on most day tours. We adjust pace to the group. Cotopaxi includes an optional climb to Refugio Jose Rivas (4,800m), but you can also stay near the parking area. Quilotoa rim walks are gentle.
What should I bring?
Layered clothing (Andean weather swings), waterproof jacket, comfortable closed shoes, sunscreen, hat, water bottle, and your ID/passport. Camera or phone for the views.
Can I book last minute?
Yes. WhatsApp us and we’ll confirm seats for tomorrow or the day after. Same-day spots sometimes open up. Just ask.
Can you customize a private day tour?
Absolutely. Tell us what you want to see, dates, and group size. We’ll design a private day with your own guide and vehicle. Common requests: Cotopaxi + Quilotoa combined, Otavalo + Cotacachi + Cuicocha, or a slow Mindo overnight.
