DAY 02. Breakfast, in the morning we will visit the Machalilla National Park, then drive to Agua Blanca, a small village. Most of the locals works one of the biggest archeological projects of Ecuador “the Manteño” pre-Columbian culture. Afternoon Frailes beach.

DAY 03. After breakfast board a small boat to the amazing Isla de la Plata in the Pacific Ocean, an alternative to the Galapagos Islands.

Here we can observe frigate birds blue footed and masked boobies and tropicbirds among others as well as a small colony of sea lions. In the afternoon we will return to Puerto Lopez.

DAY 04. Breakfast, we will come back to Quito.

GTC.02 MACHALILLA – ISLA DE LA PLATA

DAY 01. Early morning take a Flight to Manta. Drive to Puerto Lopez a fishing village. Pass through a virgin forest to banana plantations and observe typical settlements. Camp site.

DAY 02. After breakfast drive to Agua Blanca, a small village located in the Machalilla National Park most of the locals work one of the biggest archeological projects of Ecuador. The “Manteño”, pre-Columbian culture. In the afternoon, ride horse to San Sebastian (5 hours). Dinner - lodging.

DAY 03. Breakfast, early morning walk in humid forest. Back to village Agua Blanca.
